West Vancouver Veterinary Hospital has been actively serving the pet community since 2011. We provide veterinary care 7 days a week. Our mission is to provide high quality veterinary care to the pets and their family. To keep your pets healthy and happy, we make continuous efforts to improve our services.

Our veterinary pet care services have been expanding. We are currently looking for a permanent and full-time pet care and grooming service coordinator/ manager who will be able to lead our team of veterinary assistants, and also organize and run the grooming services smoothly.

Education, skills and experience required:
- Completion of training courses in animal handling, animal care, pet grooming or related field
- Able to handle all breeds of dogs and all types of cats
- Good customer service and time management skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an animal care assistant, pet groomer or related field
- Strong interpersonal skill

Language:
- Oral and written communication skills in English

Compensation:
$26.91/hour, 4% vacation pay, Extended health benefit (medical and dental) after 6 months of employment

Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and coordinate daily bookings for surgery, boarding and grooming services
- Establish or implement policies and procedures for staff
- Plan and control budget and inventory
- Respond to inquiries or complaints and resolve problems
- Hire, train and supervise staff
- Maintain and order supplies / products
- Perform same duties as an Animal health care assistant / Pet groomer when required
