Personal Lines CSR - RIBO licensed
Role
The Customer Service Representative will provide existing clients with professional advice and exceptional service. Candidates must be able to maintain knowledge of current underwriting rules, product knowledge and other insurance related changes. The CSR must be able to build & maintain relationships with existing book of business.
Duties and Responsibilities of Customer service Representative NOC (13110)
• Answering calls and queries of clients to provide information on Company's products and services;
• Maintaining client files and performing follow ups with institutions to track application progress and providing further information or documents, where necessary;
• Use of MIS systems like Power Broker Management System to record the discussion and create detailed notes on discussions. Generate periodic reports as and when needed by the management.
• Liaising with clients to collect data and documentation for completion of forms and paperwork to support their insurance applications and renewals etc;
• Take urgent calls from customers that have had a claim, give advice on the claims situation and help guide Insured through the claims process.
• Preparing documents and editing drafts as directed. Establish insurance coverage, determine premiums and payment options as necessary, and make sure all relevant paperwork and other requirements are submitted as per the terms of the policy
• Responding to incoming emails and calls and coordinating work flow between different departments; Liaise with Producers, Portal Processing, Renewal Remarketing, Admin Departments, and provide information as needed.
• Communicate effectively with management, underwriter /Insurance Companies, and customers.
• Follow-up on abeyances.
Education and work experience Requirements
Minimum One to two years college diploma complemented with 2 years of work experience.
Language proficiency
Proficient in verbal and written communication skills - English
Desirable
Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) license
