BODY BALANCED MASSAGE THERAPY INC. is looking for permanent, full-time Service Supervisors to join our dynamic team!

Position: Service Supervisor – Spa (NOC 6316)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30-40 hours per week), Day, Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Weekend, Shift
Hourly Wage: $24.00

Work Location: 1919 Centre St NW, Calgary, AB T2E 2S7
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Responsible for overseeing the overall day to day shop operation
• Supervise and co-ordinate appointments, work schedules and work activities of staff (therapists, technicians, receptionists, etc.)
• Delegate workloads to staff workers
• Responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of beauty and other equipment such as computers, POS system, etc. and arranging for maintenance and repair work
• Approach with the best possible solutions when encountered with potential conflicts/issues, such as customer complaints
• Maintain inventory of in-store supplies and materials; also, ensure items are in stock by placing orders
• Monitor, and develop the quality of beauty and customer service
• May provide some general beauty advice related to the service offered
• Keep the shop clean, neat, and orderly
• Generate and submit reports on sales for review
• Assist in the process of hiring/recruitment and training of new staff
• Other duties as assigned by the director/manager

Position Requirements and Qualifications:
• Secondary school (senior high) graduation
• Additional certificate in a related field will be a strong asset
• Several (3-5) years of work experience at a spa
• Supervisory experience in customer service would be an asset
• Knowledge and a good understanding of massage therapy, skin care, etc.
• Ability to build and maintain a good relationship with customers
• Strong organization and effective interpersonal skills
