We are currently searching for one (1) Welder with three (3) years of work experience

Duties:
- Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment
- Use of different type of grinding devices for polishing process
- Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes
- Interpret welding process specifications
- Operate set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
- Operate brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or to fill holes, indentations and seams of metal
- Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications

Applicants must to demonstrate progressive knowledge in tool steel and welding techniques to promote a positive company image.

You will be required to train apprentices.

Skills Requirements:
- Three years of work experience
- Understand and apply welding and brazing techniques, work quickly and skillfully with hands
- Self-motivated with results driven approach
- Problem solving Skills

- Safety behaviors, work ethic and initiative

Welding Techniques
Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), Gas metal arc welding (GMAW),

Type of Materials
Steel, iron and heavy metals

Own Tools/Equipment:
Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/googles, gloves, faceshield, welding helmet, basic tool box

Terms of Employment:
Permanent Full time with 40 hours per week

Hours of work:
From Monday to Friday
The shift is from 7:00 am to 3:30pm

Expected to regularly work 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday for 8.5 hours a day. These hours may change based on business needs. You may also be asked to work additional hours beyond the regular hours, when business needs require it, and will be expected to be flexible with availability.


Salary:
From 24.50 to 26.50 per hour
