Job Details

Slate Upper Mainland Inc. is seeking a Recruitment Assistant to join the team.

Permanent, full-time; $26.00 per hour; 30 to 40 hours per week; Plus bonus depending on sales performance.

Standard 6 to 8 hours shift could be schedule between 2:30PM and 12:00AM.

Job Description

Duties:

  • Conduct pre-screens and arrange interviews for viable candidates;
  • Post and monitor open positions;
  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment;
  • Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers;
  • Provide information or services such as employee assistance, counselling and recognition programs;
  • Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates;
  • Provide translation and interpretation from Japanese to English on a daily basis.

Requirements:
  • A post-secondary education in business administration, human resources or related field is required;
  • Minimum of two years of previous recruitment experience is required;
  • Certified Human Resources Professional Certificate is an asset;
  • JLPT or BJT Japanese proficiency certification is an asset;
  • English language is required;
  • Japanese language ability is an asset.
