Offset Press Operator

Kinetica Print, a division of Growth Media North America Inc., is looking for a hard working, experienced full-time, permanent (40 hr/wk) Print Press Operator.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Produce high quality printed material to meet customer requirements by integrating all aspects (utilizing, adjusting and maintaining) of two-color, sheet-fed, off-set print technology  

·         Fill ink fountains and take measurements, make precise adjustments by registering printing sheets exactly as per colour-proof, print sample sheet for team leader approval before continuing with job.

·         Maintain quality bi visually inspecting printed sheets by frequently pulling sheets to ensure that the colour balance and registration are maintained throughout the run.

·         Remove and clean plates and cylinders at end of press run.

·         Assist co-worker by performing duties and responsibilities consistent with the classification of the position to ensure minimal press downtime and to meet the production targets.

Review work orders and determines the supplies required and requests them by filling out internal supply request form and submit to Production Manager.
