Polonia Bakery & Deli is seeking Two Bakers for their Surrey location night shift.
Full-time, permanent, $19.00 per hour, 40 hours per week. Standard 8 hour night shifts for this position are scheduled 10PM to 6AM, as required.
10 days of paid vacation per year.
Duties:
- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders
- Operate machinery
- Bake mixed doughs and batters
- Frost and decorate cakes or other baked goods
- Ensure quality of products meets established standards
- Draw up production schedule to determine type and quantity of goods to produce
- Purchase baking supplies
- Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods
- Hire, train and supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of previous experience as a baker;
- Experience in preparing Polish and European foods is an asset;
- English language ability is required.
