Atrium Millwork Installations Ltd. is looking for an experienced Lead Millwork Installer to join our team.

This is a permanent, full-time position; 40 hours per week; $36.00 per hour.

Job Description
Duties:
- Plans, organizes, schedules, supervises, and inspects the work of skilled and semi-skilled Millwork Installers engaged in installation, repair, alteration, and construction project work;
- Inspects Job Sites or other Installation Areas and Materials requested for install; Anticipates needs for equipment, resources, site preparation, and estimated time and crew size necessary; Follows through on planning and preparation necessary for project completion;
- Supervises the installation of doors and frames, cabinets, hardware, Corian and solid surface materials, panelling, pony walls, specialty furniture assembled on site, seismic bracing, specialty materials, architectural millwork installations, feature installations of custom millwork and art, observes and records temperature and humidity readings; ensures client satisfaction through detailed reports and communication, pre-empts issues that may arise due to site conditions or manufacturer error;.
- Establishes standards for safety and performance for millwork installers and inspects quantity and quality of work against these standards;
- Lay out and survey installation area for complex installations as specified in drawings and blueprints, coordinates with other trades, general contractors, clients, and millwork manufacturers to ensure success;
- Performs related work as required.


Qualifications:
- Completion of secondary school is required
- 3+ years of previous experience as a Millwork Installer;
- Management experience is an asset;
- Familiar with and qualified to install by AWMAC Guidelines;
- Demonstrates proficiency in soft skills e.g. communication, critical thinking, mechanical visualisation, leadership, time management, collaboration, working towards common goals, etc.;
- First aid, fall protection, MEWPS certifications are assets;
- Reliable means of transportation and valid driver’s licence;
- Self-equipped with critical installation tools, hand tool and stationery;
- English language ability is required.
