Job Description
Job duties:
1) Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
2) Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
3) Orders supplies and equipment
4) Inspect kitchens and food service areas
5) Clean kitchen and work areas
6) Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
7) Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
8) Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs and monitor and order supplies
9) Manage kitchen operations
