Petro Canada is a Gas station located in High Level, Alberta having Gasoline, Midgrade and premium Diesel, Propane, Local produce, confectionery, lotto (BC lottery) and ice-cream etc.

Petro Canada in High Level, Alberta is looking for one energetic individual as a Retail Store Manager for our site located at 10002 Rainbow Blvd¬¬¬¬¬, High Level, Alberta T0H 1Z0. Position is full time with 8 hours a day/40 hour a week. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible to oversee the Gas Station while performing the following duties as described below: -

• Compile and monitor daily Veeder root (EVO 400) readings taken by the employees.
• Co-ordinate and finalize the fuel load order with TRIMAC Transport and Suncor (Petro-Canada) for the regular & premium gas along with the diesel.
• Monitor daily operations of the business and ensure smooth functioning of the store.
• Keep track of the store expenses and monitor the sales along with instore sales of various departments i.e., local produce, Lotto, and over the counter products.
• Promotes general discipline within work area and manage other team members handling the till. Also Demonstrate good work ethic and team leadership qualities.
• Monitor the CRiND system for the day end operations and co-ordinate with the owner for any discrepancies.
• Train the team for the Point-of-sale system i.e., BULLOCH PT 9000 and resolve any system concerns or error with the POS team if they occur.
• Provide quality customer service to customers and resolve any concerns or complaints.
• Coordinate with various vendors like CoreMark, Imperial Tobacco, Pepsi and Coke, Vanhout and place orders for supplies according to the requirement and daily sales.
• Ensure proper display management and tagging of merchandise is done by the team members and proper disposal of the expired products as per the protocol.
• Prepare monthly financial and sales reports and implement strategies as laid out by the company owners and check the invoice pricing for each Vendors.
• Ensure quality standards and compliances with safety regulations are maintained at all times.
• Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and issues
• Address staffing requirements, including the hiring, development, and retention of staff
• Create and maintain effective relationships with gas company personnel to ensure prompt delivery of gas.
• Establish professional relationships with vendors to make sure that convenience store goods are delivered in a time-efficient manner.
• Oversee the work of attendants to ensure appropriate delivery of services and customer satisfaction. Make sure that the sales floor and the bathrooms are clean and well-kept by the team members.
Job Description

• 1-2 years of previous retail experience and/or customer service experience
• Availability to work a variety of hours, which may include weekends, evenings, early morning shifts and holidays
• Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English effectively
• Basic math skills to handle cash, complete financial reports
• Completion of bachelor’s degree.
• We shall assist in getting Serve It Right certificate and provide paid time-off to get certified if someone needs to be certified.
